How to Apply
First cohort begins fall 2026. Places are limited. Early applications are encouraged.
Applying to University of New Haven – Riyadh is straightforward. The steps below take most applicants under an hour. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and applying early strengthens your chances of securing a place in the first cohort.
Submit your application
Complete the online application and upload your supporting documents. The non-refundable application fee is SAR 500 +VAT, payable at the time of application submission. Our admissions team will acknowledge receipt within five working days.
Receive your offer
Offers are issued on a rolling basis. You will receive a formal offer letter setting out your program, start date and any conditions.
Accept your place
Confirm your acceptance and pay the non-refundable enrollment deposit (SAR 3,750 +VAT) to secure your place. The deposit is credited in full toward your first semester's tuition. You will then receive your enrollment pack with details for orientation and the first semester.
Entry Requirements and Application Documents
Admission is open to men and women on the same terms, and all programs are taught in coeducational classes.
Undergraduate Admission Entry Requirements
- A Saudi secondary school leaving certificate (Tawjihi) or a recognized international equivalent such as IB or A-levels, with a minimum overall grade of 75% or equivalent (subject to program).
- English proficiency demonstrated by at least one of the following:
- IELTS Academic 6.0 overall (no band below 5.5)
- TOEFL iBT 75 / Band 4
- Qiyas STEP 75+ (Standardized Test of English Proficiency, administered by the Saudi National Center for Assessment, Qiyas)
- Duolingo 105
- Students with English proficiency scores of IELTS Academic 5.0 or equivalent (TOEFL iBT between 45-74 / between Band 3-4, Qiyas STEP between 60-74, or Duolingo 85) may be admitted to the Foundation Year.
- A personal statement in English of 500–700 words
Note: English proficiency requirements are waived for applicants who graduated from an approved school in an English-speaking country where English was the language of instruction.
Undergraduate Admission Application Documents
The following documents are required for undergraduate admission and must be in English or accompanied by a certified English translation:
- Certified copy of your secondary school transcript and leaving certificate
- Certified copy of your national ID or passport (data pages)
- Official English proficiency test results (see acceptable tests and scores above)
- One academic or professional reference letter
- Completed online application form

متطلبات القبول لبرامج البكالوريوس
- شهادة الثانوية العامة السعودية (التوجيهي) أو ما يعادلها من الشهادات الدولية المعترف بها مثل البكالوريا الدولية (IB) أو المستوى المتقدم (A-levels)، بحد أدنى للمعدل العام 75% أو ما يعادلها (حسب البرامج الدراسية).
- إثبات إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية من خلال تحقيق أحدهما على الأقل مما يلي:
- اختبار آيلتس الأكاديمي (IELTS Academic) بدرجة لا تقل عن 6.0 كحد أدنى (ولاطبق أية درجة جزئية عن 5.5)
- اختبار توفل (TOEFL iBT) بدرجة 75 / المستوى 4
- اختبار قياس (STEP) بدرجة +75 (اختبار كفايات اللغة الإنجليزية المعياري، المقدم من المركز الوطني للقياس، قياس)
- اختبار دولينجو (Duolingo) بدرجة 105
- الطلاب الحاصلون على درجات في إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية تعادل آيلتس الأكاديمي 5.0 أو ما يعادلها (توفل iBT بين 45-74 / المستوى 3-4، أو قياس STEP بين 60-74، أو دولينجو 85) يمكن قبولهم في السنة التحضيرية.
- خطاب الدافع (Personal Statement) باللغة الإنجليزية يترواح بين 500 إلى 700 كلمة
ملاحظة: يُعفى المتقدمون الذين تخرجوا من مدرسة معتمدة في دولة ناطقة باللغة الإنجليزية وكانت اللغة الإنجليزية هي لغة التدريس فيها من متطلبات إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية.
المستندات المطلوبة للتقديم لبرامج البكالوريوس
المستندات التالية مطلوبة لـ قبول البكالوريوس ويجب أن تكون باللغة الإنجليزية أو مصحوبة بترجمة معتمدة إلى اللغة الإنجليزية:
- نسخة مصدقة من كشف درجات الثانوية العامة وشهادة التخرج
- نسخة مصدقة من الهوية الوطنية أو جواز السفر (صفحات البيانات)
- النتائج الرسمية لاختبار إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية (راجع الاختبارات والدرجات المقبولة أعلاه)
- خطاب توصية واحد (أكاديمي أو مهني)

Undergraduate students who do not meet all requirements for direct entry to the core curriculum are still welcome to apply. You may receive a conditional offer with entry into the Foundation Year, an integrated first stage of your degree that will help you develop the skills you need to succeed at the University of New Haven.
